Hailing from Mumbai, India, I have always loved to cook and have had a keen interest in learning different cuisines.
Hence I completed my hospitality studies and for further Higher Culinary Education studied in Dubai, UAE with certification from City and Guilds.
After, working my way up from renowned five star hotels like the Oberoi hotel in Mumbai and the The Ritz Carlton in Dubai, I had the opportunity to expand my horizon and gain more international experience by joining the Convivia Bistro team, a place where I get to express my passion as a Chef.
After several years working in construction as a project coordinator, I decided to start all over again, and make a living from cooking, which I have been passionate about since my childhood. So I studied culinary in France and was able to work for Chef Ferrer in Quebec. I also worked in a French Bistro in the Hochelaga district where the staff were cooking enthusiasts, hungry for knowledge, which helped me in spending my days reading cookbooks and trying to create new recipes. With the COVID epidemic, new opportunities were presented to me at the Convivia restaurant, with Charles and Johanne who let me express my cuisine and create dishes.
Born and raised in Ukraine, I took my first steps in hospitality there. Then I continued my career in the Middle East at a 5-star Hyatt hotel and all around the world with Oceania Cruise Line. Now, I am happy to live in beautiful British Columbia and proud to be part of the Convivia Bistro team.
